@coachKLO : I 'll certainly will make other figs for people here in the future, and I'll keep you informed about that

(edit/ps : the figs I have to do are not for sale or trade, it's just my brother birthday gift I'm preparing for him, and a couple of bucs I make for another friend gift who helped me so much).
Thanks for keeping me in mind.....maybe I will send you something else to help your EF world.... TTC bases ring a bell.......

Default last WIP pics

Hi,

Here's some pics before I pose the masks and modelling flock. I varnished all the figs twice. I re-varnished the offense squad too, because the result was too "satin" (I don't know the term in english...the varnish effect was between gloss and mat) for my taste.

Next pics will present the complete D squad and complete team !

hey french guy, i know you are very busy, but what brush do you use for the very smallest lines you paint, can you put a picture of your painting brushes on here. i see a very very small black line on the sleeve of the defense, it looks very difficult to do. thanks.

I use several diferent brushes, I explain it in that two articles :

http://miniaturefootball.org/2009/11...ng-for-battle/

http://miniaturefootball.org/2009/10...t-and-brushes/

the "pin stripping" technic I use is not so difficult. You have to make a fluid mix of black ink and black paint, an use a very sharp brush (3/0 or 5/0). You make black lines between the diferent colors aeras, to add detail and make better contrasts. It's an "old school" figure painting technic.

Basically, I use that 3 brushes, wich I can consider essential. Sometimes, I use a 0 brush and a 1 brush, and very rarely, a very short hair 000 special brush.

HI,

I started to paint the plateforms...

and improved my base painting technic, trying to make it more sturdy.

All the bases you see here are normally red, yellow, dark green, etc... and now are all painted in a beautiful light and gloss green. I'll also keep you informed about that

Default Those look nice.

I was wanting to make my bases a uniform color as well. What kind of paint did you get to stick to the plastic, and does it adhere well or add much weight?

I made a first try with acrilic spray can : it looked nice, but wasn't sturdy enough.

So I tried a new technic, using a car primer spray can (the same I use on my figs), and then the same acrilic spray can gloss paint I used before. Since that primer is incredibly solid, and stick very well on plastic, I hope it will be OK. I'll keep you informed sunday (so the bases will be perfectly dry).
