Wow those Browns are hot!!!!
Incredible and poseable!! This is why this hobby is hot.
Oh, I missed part of this post and got a message from Mr. Smith (thank you Don), .....he HAS answered the call. The Brownie nation will stand srtrong in Canton. As a not so gentle reminder that the STEELERS, RAVENS and BENGALS have specifically been called out..... (and for that matter anybody else who wants to face the "Brown out").... You know who you are... Step up..... .... in Canton.......

I'm starting to believe I can do it now!
At first, I was'nt sure if I should boil them to get'm soft first, or lighter.
So I tried the lighter first, and this is what my immagination got me to doing first with the Tackles, then I took a blocker, and made him into a bump and run Corner Back. Just gotta keep on tryin to get it down now that I'm not wondering about ruining the player.. My 10 year old daughter did the Raider blocker in Magnet paint, and got the guy too lumpy, so he was my first victom to getting examined with the heat and knife... |

THIS IS A GREAT THREAD
WOW.
What i like is you see some of the customs of years ago and how great they looked even then. Also, to have a reference of how far the custom player has come, just a few years later. Its like seeing pics of the hot off the chain Sony Walkman that you still love dearly, in contrast with the present day Apple IPod. I love the poses on all these figs. You can see the influence they have had, even still today. I hope some others post pics of their guys. This could be like the Board Museum thread, just with Customs. I gotta get my camera fixed.

You know it made me realize . . .
Just how competitive Bruce Watts is and how way ahead of the curve Chris Robinson was, and still is. I didn't know that Don Smith had such a touch for customizing. Then the bros from the Great Lakes stepped it up and wow, bam, boom.
I kinda feel bad that I average less than five customs per team with those being the ones with their hands dropped down.
