For people wanting to try sculpting (wich is one of my favorite modelling activities), I'll make an article in a next Tweak issue, with step by step muscle sculpting

Default Digging the topic

Hi,

Seeing all the other members projects, and with the NFl season approaching, it motivated me to work on my giants team again.

I wanted to start painting a little, like I did for the Niners team (starting with the center fig) : it allows me to test effects and diferent things I'll bring to the whole team, finally.

So here it is ! Some very bad pics of the base coating.

To be continued !

kool. we have been waiting.

here is an idea, that wil keep you motivated.

do one man for each NFL team, customised, then you will have a really great collection of one figure for every NFL team, it will help you decide on which "team" to work on next. if you pick my idea, please do a RAMS figure from the late 70's uniform, they wear their old blue and yellow uniforms a couple times a year last year.

I like the idea, but maybe do the best player for each team in the game today. Like, adrian peterson-vikings chris johnson-titans ray rice-ravens patrick willis-49ers aaron rodgers-packers jahvid best or matthew stafford for the lions, saints-drew brees darrelle revis-jets ect

Great idea, but I prefer to make squad projects : individual figures is less interesting in my opinion

So for now, it's giants times (even if I have to make my steelers defense squad too to complete the team)

Here's some poor (night) pictures of the current progress.

You can see the stages :

1 base coating
2 first muscles and face skin highlights
3 first details (eyes, gloves, chinstrap, etc...)

4 Next : glazes and washes.

Thumbs up When you are done Dimitri?

You may send that (poor picture) figure to me. I guarantee he will start in my backfield and you will see him on film. Just think about it.

PS. Mozeek, stay out of this!

Nice work and congratulations on your award.

thanks

Here's some daylights pictures.

I finished the highlights and shadows effects. Now I need to make some decals for numbers, and paint the helmet logo, and it will be finished
