Flock on base

How do I get the flock to stay on the base when I slide it onto a base?
I have used may applications of PVA glue, but I need something else to really harden it. I is hard on the outside but the clips of the base push it off.
Any suggestions?

We use a 2 part epoxy resin for similar applications on a much larger scale. Could possibly work for what you are wanting to do. Here is a link:

Personally I would try a polyurethane clear coat first. Anything that dries fairly hard.

Another thing I would try is mixing the flock with the clear coat or resin before applying to the figure platform.

to make my plateform flock more stronger, first I roughly sand it with sand paper (80 or 120 grit), then I use a slightly diluted PVA glue on it. I spread the flock on it, and wait to dry.

Once it's dry, dilute some PVA glue with water, to obtain more or less milk consistancy. Now, apply that liquid on your modelling flock. It will "drink" the glue.

Once it's dry, you can repaint it with green and add a drybrush on it (light green , yellow, you know).

Finally, I add a coat of mate (dull?) arts (pebeo, liquitex, etc...) medium to protect the whole thing.

It 's really strong. Not impossible to destroy, but a lot stronger than the classic way.
