Default Legend status painters

I think it would be cool if some teams or players were posted that some of the legend painters in the hobby have done.Living or deceased(RIP).I mean straight paint jobs,no decals.I think it would be a good history lesson for newbies and maybe inspire some to try straight paint jobs w/out decals ect.How about it?STT

Chargers, all hand painted, with hand made face masks, done by the great Larry Walker to start off the thread.

someone who's name does not come up very much when talking about 100% hand painting is jeff priest. i think that what he did with the rams that he used in season 2 and currently in season 3 are among the best. here are a couple of pics.

Default Works By Ravenna Al

I pulled these from different posts, they were done by the great hand-painter Ravenna Al. He blows my mind, look at the detail! The amount of love and patience he puts into these figures is staggering.

Default Famous Painters

My hats off to all of the great painter out there. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. In fact, I hate painting. LOVE decaling. Thanks to guys like BEENUTT and Mike Beal I can create nice teams for my solitaire league.
If I could create hand-painted teams, I would. However, that is not one of my skill sets.
To Ravenna Al and the others. I'll raise a toast to you

Thanks for the compliments, John. In all fairness, the numbers on those '69 Rams and the Third Reich are decals. Everything else was done by hand. Here's some pics of old teams that I painted back in the 70's and 80's, and a few from the middle 90's too. For better or worse, these are all 100% hand done, including numbers.
