Default Inspired by others teams...

I have been inspired by pix posted of Bills, Giants and Chiefs teams in the past few weeks...so I decided to paint some of my own.

I haven't decided how many of each to do - I know I am doing 22 "greatest ever" Chiefs...red jersey O and white jersey D - but I will probably do 22 man teams with the Giants (this year's SB champs in white!) and the Bills in white too (maybe a greatest ever team like the Chiefs).

Everything done so far is paint....and as you can tell, they are a work in progress. I will use decals for helmet logos and numbers for all and probably sleeve stripes on the Giants.

I have been doing my own decals...but I haven't tried pant stripes yet (if anybody has patterns they would like to share, please send me a PM!)

That Bills uniform would be so frustrating for me to paint...but it looks so sweet when you get it done.

I love the flat paint look as well.

Great Job!!!

Default Paints

Thanks for the compliments...

I have a mix of paints...most are Model Master Acrylic but the red is from JoAnns...it's Americana (similar to Apple Barrell I guess) and the color is "True Red"...for the Giants I decided to make a change...I need to go a shade darker on the red...going to look for a color tomorrow...

The flat look is something I wanted to do with my Steelers, but I only had semi gloss black when I started painting them...

I will eventually be putting a clear coat on these guys...I will use matte finish for that I think...

Decals? Who needs 'em? Those stripes look great. I think you could do just fine on the helmets if you'ld give it a try.
