The 2011 WMLMF season is almost ready to begin. This year promises to be even bigger, badder and better than last year. There was supposed to be 16 teams this season, but 3 teams weren’t ready in time. The Pacific Sharks, my 4.0g team, is being de-tuned to fit in with the rest of the more or less 3.3g teams in the league. This will bump the number of teams to 14. They will be sorted into 2 divisions, the North and the Un-North.

Who will be the 2011 Gumbo Bowl champions? Can the Third Reich repeat as champions? Will the Sasquatch bounce back and reclaim their crown? Can the Bozos get over the hump to win it all? Will the Mennonites get medieval on everybody’s buttocks? Or will one of the 4 new teams surprise everyone and take the crown?

And who will win the Fantasy Football contest? Will it be sweat Kenny Allen? Or perhaps Derrick? Can Ed Morgan Roo the world? Will Phil be the one to walk softly and carry the big Styx? Maybe Bob will clear the Slate? Will Mozeek win a cover for those 100% hand painted Cards of his? Will Dave be the high Roller and take it all? How Weird would it be for Wolf to win? Will Shane jump through all the right Hoops to win?
Or will Mike let the Dogs out? Only time will tell.

The season has just started. It'll take me a little while to get the 7 games for the first 'week' finished, but will post the results just as soon as I get them finished. It'll be a 9 'week' season, so each team plays 9 games. The 2 division winners will get a bye. The next 4 teams with the best records will be the wild card teams. The winners of those 2 games play the division winners, then the winners of that play for the championship.

I wish I had a web page, but I'm not that literate enough to make one.

Since you brought it up, here's the schedule for the 1st weeks games:

Bozos at Sasquatch These two are no strangers to each other. The Sasquatch have the upperhand in their last few meetings. It's a new season, but the big guys still come out on top by 4

Sharks at Third Reich The defending league champs start the season with a fish fry. Reich by 7

Toxic Waste at Killer Bees Three Mile Island needs to get off to a winning start this year. Won't happen against an angry bunch of Bees. K-Zoo by 7

Wererwolves at Super Sumos The Japanese will have their hands full against a powerfull Wolf attack. Dog men by 10

Mennonites at Ra The Amish have had the off season to ponder what could have been. Too much turmoil in Egypt this year. Men in Black by 7

Rams at Fairies It's always a grudge match when LA plays SF. Ground Chuck will be too much for the Pink Brigade. Rams by 9

Zombies at Cadavers It's the dead vs the undead. The Zombies want to prove that they belong in the playoffs. The Cadavers smell like embalming fluid. The purple gang wins by 10
