Default Membership drive idea???

In each league, that the MFCA site proudly advertises and promotes, could charge each member an additional $20 bucks in league dues/fees, and they become a yearly-paid in full, member of the MFCA. Incorporate the 20 bucks as paying for league entry, and with league entry comes a 1 year membership to the MFCA.

How many leagues around the country?
How many members in those leagues?
How many potential paid members of the MFCA?

Yes, there are MANY deterents and negatives with this suggestion. I understand that league dues is high enough and collection of dues is hard enough, but its not a bad idea, so perhaps the leagues could take a look at it and see if it may work.

I like the idea.
I also think the Mfca can have 3-4 auctions a year on either here or e-bay. Coaches from all across the country can donate what ever they feel they can spare, figures , decal sheets etc.
The money raised can go to new memberships for coaches that cannot either afford it or are on the fence about joining .

Default NOT A BAD IDEA

SCOTT,

That's actually a good idea. The league dues and the and the MFCA MEMBERSHIP can work hand in hand. maybe each league can scale back the league fees $10 to $20 dollars. Lets say a league charges $50 right now. They agree to cut it back to $30. Then explain to coaches, to play in our league the charge will be $50. $30 for the league and $20 for the MFCA MEMBERSHIP. IF A COACH WANTS THE $55 DOLLAR MEMBERSHIP HE WILL PAY THE $35 SEPERATLEY. After all the MFCA is allowing you to broadcast your games via this website. I think once everyone is ready, they will start to record their games.

It can be worked out once everyone thinks about it.

Default ONE OTHER THING

COACHES,

There may be coaches out there who say,

1) " I have to pay my league dues so i will hold off on my MFCA membership"

2) " I have to pay my MFCA membership so i will hold off on my league dues "

But if you kill two birds with one stone by paying for both at once, this will help leagues and the MFCA collect the money.

BUT THE LEAGUE COMMISSIONERS MUST BE STERN ON THIS MATTER.

They also must work with wolf and silv in some form of a list.

But it can work

**THE MFCAL MUST FIGURE INTO THIS ALSO IN TERMS OF COUNTING YOUR GAMES !

Thanks

Ten, Who Love To Row A Boat, Will Travel Farther On The River Than One Hundred Who Do Not.

PROMOTE the hobby in a positive way
ASSIST the coaches and leagues
EDUCATE the new ones

As long as we are doing what are mission statement says, than it does not matter if we have 10 or 100. I have to remind myself of this all the time and I am proud of what is here. People make it vibrant and the coaches that are here are accomplishing our mission. That is enough.

Default You beat me to it!

Wolf I was thinking the same thing.

It's just like getting coaches for your league. If you have to constantly remind them, and go overboard to get them on board, usually they are not good league mates. They tend to become more of a problem than a asset.
