Default BEFA Bowl I

BEFA Bowl I has just kicked off.
The New Jersey Generals of the USFL division vs the Hawaiians of the WFL division. Generals come in with a record of 10-2 while the Hawaiians are in with a record of 6-6. New Jersey has dominated the field with a strong o-line and great running play of Herschel Walker and the Hawaiians counter with the strong arm of Weese Norris. It appears to be a battle between air and ground.
The game will be four quarters with 15 plays per quarter. Rules will be used that will be in play for the 2010 season.
Weights on the o-line's have been adjusted, and away we go.

The most exciting part of the first quarter was the end zone interception and returned 105 yards for a touchdown. Unreal play! as shown in the last three photos.
End of Quarter 1-NJ (21) Hawaiians (7)
Two rushing TD's by Walker and the INT then the Hawaiians got on the board with a 54 yard TD run.

More to come........

Default Nicely done!

Nice job on the figures, and I LOVE that board. The dirt along the center is a great effect.

Default BTW

My league is an iron man league. Players play both O and D. At this time I dont have the time, money or patience to do more than that.
That is why you will see the O-line on the D in the photos.
All of the plays are determined by using my play chart.

Default Great photos Chris

The Generals............Trumps old team!!!! Looks like your Herschel is a beast! Does your chart pick the type of defense you will play as well?

Keep the updates coming!

Default Second Q update

No photos, but a quick highlight.
The Generals were moving the ball after the opening kickoff all the way down to the Hawaiians 9 yard line when Walker fumbled the ball. Hawaiians recover the fumble and go three and out and have to punt.
Walker back to receive the punt(24 yard punt) at the Hawaiians 32 and takes it to the house for the TD.
Generals (28) Hawaiians (7)
The Hawaiians get the ball at there own 44 and produce a 51 yard bomb. This sets up a 5 yard TD run with only one play remaining in the quarter.
So, at the half we have......
Generals (28) Hawaiians (14)

Halftime highlight Stats
(NJ)Herschel Walker-Rushing 4-102-1
Rec 3-90-1
(HW)Al Davis-Rushing 4-112-2
Rec 1-7
