308 LAMINATION QUESH, CAN IT BE DONE ?
Coaches,
I have several 308 field covers made by reg rutledge. My quesh is can i take that cover someplace and have it laminated for protection of the cover ? I have a little niick on one that stops the players in there tracks. Will the lamination smooth out that nick and prevent further nicks. Most important factor is preserving the paint job for years to come. Is there a certain form of lamination that will not bubble up as time passes. Thanx Mantaraydre

perhaps you can try to cover it with some mylar or "venilia" (product we find in france, some transparent sticky sheet).
Mylar is used for pinball field cover...so I guess it should be enough solid for a electric football field cover ? |

Dre, you should be able to take the covers to any quick sign shop and they can laminate it. Before you do this, make sure they know the importance of NOT having air bubbles. I would ask to see some samples of their work before allowing them to move ahead and ask if there is any guarantee.
