Virginia Tech. After what happened in April it should be easy to root for them.

Brian, time to get out of Div I. Root for Grand Valley State Lakers right here in Grand Rapids (Ok, actually they're in Allendale but close enough). They are the two time defending Div II champs, winners of 4 of the last 5 titles. But, if Div II isn't good enough for ya, then go for Boise St. They got no respect last year.

Default appalachian state

Brian,

You should root for Appalachian State. They are the team that is responsible for getting you a new head coach. If it wasn't for them, you would still be stuck with Lloyd Carr and you will continue to lose to Ohio State for the next foreseeable future. Appalachian State is the best thing to happen to Michigan in a long time. You will realize this in about 4 years when your new coach has time to recruit and you start beating Ohio State again.
