Default 3yd rule?

Can someone explain the logic and reasoning behind it.A back at any level will cut/spin whatever to avoid a tackle even a half yard away.I am not asking from a sarcastic tone,I just maybe missing an important point why it is part of the system. Thanks STT

Default The Answer Is

The reason behind the 3 yard rule is to allow the runner to to what a runner would naturally do, cut, spin, in other words avoid the taclker.

But this must be done in a manner that will not give an advantage to one over the other.

We as human have a reflex reaction to things, well we give these figures these abilities through the 3 yard rule.

The more you play in the system the more clear it will become to you.
