Default Displaying teams

I usually just store them in Plano storage cases. However I do have some small plex cases (the kind that are used for small diecast cars) that I will eventually use to display teams in.

MFCA Displaying teams ....

I buy lettering kits and the plastic cases at Micheals that you put model cars in. I use the letters to display year and team on top of case. I put these on shelves in my EF room.

Default An idea

I have not done this yet, but an idea I have is:

- Get a display case that is designed for a full size signed baseball bat like you can get a Michaels or the Container Store.
- Then cut one of your un-used field covers long way at the long end of the field. In other words you want the yard markers and numbers to show. Cut off the sideline and then measure the depth of the bat display case to get the depth (towards the center line of the feild) you need to cut the field cover a second time.
- Then glue the field to the bottom of the case.
- Then place your men lined up from one end of the case (feild) to the other to show them off.

This way all players are "up front" so to speak, and you get the feel of them being on a football feild.

Let me know your thoughts.

That is a great idea Curtis .

I am looking at a way to display 32 teams in my solitarie when I finish ( in a couple of years)

I worry about the cost of that endeaver for 32 teams .

I am poor!!!!

Thanks for the ideas so far.

Curtis stay tuned I have 5 figures from Frank Jacobs , they are outstanding. I am about to finish painting and decaling so keep a eye open for them raiders.

You can use slot racing display cases. You can find them in slot racing stores, you can put a complete team (11+11) in it I think.

If you just want to put two or 3 figs in it, little jonnhy lightning/autoworld slot racing display cases are great too. I made one (with a small turf on it) for a friend with a couple of collectable figs on it.

For individual figures, John TVchachi found a great solution using baseball display cases.

I dont have any displayed. Ive been to Beenutt's and he has the set up where all his teams over 100 are displayed in foam trays. They look like the warhammer ones but these are not punched out. You can pull out as much as you need to hold whatever object you desire. He has them all based up and standing up in these. He then has them on glass shelves all over the walls in his new football room.
Maybe he will post some pics of his awesome collection.

Default Where to get small plex cases

Ertl is the brand name of the cases that I have found. Usually closeouts that I have found at Big Lots. Toys R Us would be another place to look. Michael's and Hobby Lobby would be other places to try.
