Default Solitaire Leagues updates needed

For everyone who has a solitaire league, we need you to update our data base for a future Tweak issue. This is what we need:

Your name
Your leagues name
The type of league it is (NFL, college, fantasy etc.)
Number of teams involved
Number of years in existence, or number of seasons played
Current champion
List of past champions
Short summery of rules that you are using ( Example: FOB, 3.2g, passing dice, multi-stop, spread line, no stacking, charts for O & D, no penalties or fumbles )
Brief discription of your league's history, or what makes it special or unique ( 1 or 2 paragraphs )
1 or 2 pics ( Not required, but desired )

Send them to:

Ravennaal@yahoo.com

We would like to have 100% participation in this, so please respond within the next week or so. Thanks, and let's keep the solitaire movement going!

So far I've had 2 whole responses. Where is everyone? I know there has to be at least a dozen solitaire leagues going on out there. Reg, Matt, Chris, Glenn, Mark, Ronnie????? What happened to all that talk about a solitaire newsletter? And this is all I can get????????????

Pretty sad.....

Tudor Classic Electric football (1)
Golden Triangle Miniature Electric Football (2)

the Tudor league uses the mid 70's rules with the addition of 1 click stop/adjust on every offensive play. adjustments can be made by all unengaged players, both offence for blocking and defense for tackling.

the GTMEF league is an ongoing ruleset comprising several rulesets similer to tournaments around the country.

around 500 different NFL and College teams to pick from. the GTMEFL is usually the league where figures and teams are NON- tudor/miggle produced players, the Tudor Classic is all teams manufactored before 1980.

current champions TCEFL- Hogleg white jersey Cowboys
current champions GTMEFL- Buzzball White jersey Rams

anniversary..TCEFL- Summer-1974- estimated 300 games played
GTMEFL................-Summer 1999- estimated 200 games played

TCEFL has had a few names, the first name was North End 'lectric. my division was Swift street. there were 2 other divisions, Fairway street and the trinidads. all names were coaches street address names. there were 6 coaches at the max and always at least 2 coaches from '74 til about '79. when we moved away, and got a little older, i only played solitaire mostly from '89 on. this brief history is regarding solitaire leagues and the eventual playoffs from the surrounding leagues of the 70's in the north end of beaumont from '74 until '79.

I am still contructing my solitaire league. I am planning on having 8 football teams. I do not have a name for my league as of yet. They will be fantasy teams , however, the league will have some NFL and USFL flavor to it in terms to reality. I plan to use different schemes due to each team's habitat. For example, I would use a run and shoot team in a warmer climate and a 6 yards and a cloud of dust in a colder climate team. This is just give each team a personality. I plan to play 8 games and the title game. I may invite a playoff system if I add more teams in future seasons.

I plan to use stick passing, penalties (not sure at this time), and custom made plays for each team. I will also have a base draft consisting of 4 rounds. I will have a college allstar game with my bases to determine the best bases. I will supply each team with 24 random bases and 4 draft picks. Next season, I plan to employ a free agency system. My teams will consist of 14 man roster. I have one team partially painted , and I have drawn out the plans for the other 7 teams. I will upload a few pics soon. ---- Kevin

Haven't seen anything yet. Please e-mail to Ravennaal@yahoo.com

Kevin, please e-mail pics to me in full resolution. The pics that get posted on the chat board aren't up to the standards needed for print. Thanks!
