Default Home and away teams, whats up with that?

I have noticed that most league teams only come in one color and to them I would like to know, how do you simulate home and away teams, also is or is it not part of football to have home and away Jerseys? in this hobby of ours are we trying to simulated the NFL or the NCAA? if so the NFL and NCAA they do have home and away jerseys and I think it's part of football to have home and away jerseys. I also think it's a good way to find out If you are better at home or on the road, well, let me know whats up

playing on someone elses board with their setup, their speed setting, and their specific board size is playing a road game. again, the mid-ohio mfl is not going to turn anybody away for not having away jerseys on their teams.
eventually, probably for our next season, i will have my team in both home and away uniforms, and i also want to do an alternate uni for the saints with the black helmets. but, for now, i will stick with what i have, offense in dark, defense in white.

Default Team building....

takes time, ...................and many guys don't/can't do their teams (paint/Detail) themselves and pay others to do the work, so I think it comes down the economics of time and money.

Think about how much time/money it takes to put a good looking/performing team on the field, and it gets expensive real fast if you are buying custom figures, or time intensive if you are making them yourself,.............you have virtually doubled your cost. I know a lot of guys have anywhere from 33 - 53 figures on their roster.

So to have home and road uniforms all decked out with face masks, chin straps, gloves, shoe detail, towels, names, numbers, etc......... it can be quite an investment. Even without the all the extras, just painting and numbering a team can get pricey for many in this hobby.................so that's why I think you don't see many guys with home and road uniforms.

offense in dark defense in white. Its just easier that way. Plus you can easily determine your offense from your defense. This si the best solution in MF that I've seen. Thats what I do for all my teams.

Default I just don't know???

Tron here,
I don't know how people can only play with one uniform. I'm a firm believer in both offense and defense in both home and away jerseys. It can become time consuming and expensive. Just take your time and pace yourself. I don't like offense in dark and defense in white @ tournaments because each one of my figures has a job and can perform back up when I get in trouble. I play a legion when my team is on the field. And you know we looking good!!!!

Tron so you play your O-line on defense as your backup plan when your D-line's getting mauled? Thats why I like Offense in dark defense in white, gotta have 22 starters plus backups! No iron man RBs playing dominating at inside line backer, thats old school to me and not so realistic. I alos prefer one base per figure. No swapping the dominant base around from RB, to DE. Thats just my thoughts on the "miniature athlete" playing both ways. Also as someone who enjoys making figures/teams as much as anyone I would say that full squads in both home and away does not interest me in the least. I'd much rather start another team than make 40 dark and then 40 light (80 total). Plus who really has FULL home/away? If your league or tournament doesn't require offense dark, defense white then the reality is that you will have dark vs dark teams (or worse yet white vs. white teams). I peronally don't have a big problem with that but I do see that as the reality.

As for me I would not want to play a game were my team is in dark Jersey and the other team is in there dark Jersey or white vs white, I find this funny in this hobby, that we talk about adding realism to the game but adding home and away teams is hard? this is your hobby! what you put into it is what you get out of it, and I have a full home and away team, each team is based up and what I do to one I do to the other, this is my hobby so I will take the time to do my team. this is how I feel

Default Just my opinion

I feel that each coach should have a full squad each of home and away. I would lose my mind if I played offense in dark and def. in white.

If you play Shootout rules and you have home and away jerseys, because of possible injuries you have to have a sub for every position in case there is an injury.

You now have a starter squad of home and away jerseys, then most guys also have specialty bases, stealth dials, loopers, etc.. so you have a starting line up both offense and defense with at least two functioning athletes at each position and sometimes more than two, then you need to have subs so, you can see how this adds up to a team of 50 plus players.

If you are painting detailing this it can be time consuming or very expenseive to pay for someone else to do it.

You can find Miggle teams in light and dark. I like the offense in dark and defense in white, it makes for easier identification when you have a 50 plus player squad.
