Default Building Teams For a Calgary League

Looks like we could have a fourth player committed to a league up here so I'm filling out teams by painting them myself so they can be ready to go for anyone that wants them! I'll share them as I get them done. btw I can't paint to save my life

This one is a custom Doughboys team for myself. It'll take a while to get done at the rate I'm moving..

Decent painting and result.

You know that you have to start somewhere. You'll see, in the future, that using better paints, better brushes, decals and all the fancy stuff, you'll progress more and more on each figure you'll complete

I am going to give decaling a shot next week. I just got a color printer (only had a black and white laser before) so I'm going to pick up a couple sheets of decal paper and give it a go.

Making the decals on the computer seems to be simple enough though.

Raiders and Chiefs. Raiders were a lot of painting light uni's into darks. The Chiefs were painting 3 lights into darks, and then the other 12 were excalibur red/white fig's that I took a yellow paint pen to for the striping.

95% are miggle/tudor and excalibur. I may have 10 buzzball figures here. the Doughboys squad will be FF.net figures.

I wish I could truly explain how much respect I have for the guys that paint these custom teams. I'm working on the Indy road uni's and am just ready to bang my head off the wall. (I took old beat up figures painted them white then did the striping.)

I don't care if you are a professional painter or a guy that paints a team just because he wants to. My hat is off to you!
