Check out Reg's shootout rules. I watched him play a bit of his game last night and they seemed quite slick.

Default WCFA uses these rules

All figures used are Miggle originals.

Game boards are 500 series, 620, Rose Bowl Board.

Will be keeping stats

Play time is 80 plays. (20 play a quarter)

No time outs for extra plays.

COIN TOSS HEADS HOME TAILS VISITORS :
Winner of coin toss receives kickoff to start the game (runs right to left). The loser of coin toss receives ball start of 3rd quarter (runs left to right).

The Kickoffs will be moved backed to 40 instead of the 30 and the kicking team will have 4 seconds to get a player into the end zone to have a Touchback no return. Pivots will be made for all unengaged players (kicking and receiving) in the field of play.

Onside kicks made only if trailing. Kicking team places the ball on mid field wherever they want. First team to touch gets it, all unegaged players on then defense is pivoted and the ball can advanced.

Kicks after safeties are just like a kickoff except kicked from the 20 and returned from the 20.

Pass using simulation sticks. Adjust any unengaged defensive player towards ball.

Punts are 40 yards. If across the 50 the punting team can use 35 yards one time per game.

4th down rule: have to punt unless trailing in 4th quarter or less than 2 yards for first down and across midfield.

The offense can go for Touchdown on any fourth and goal at anytime.

Field goals are attempted 7 yards back from line of scrimmage (no defense). Also have to be inside Opponents 45 yard line or had a first down inside Opponents 45 yard line.

PATS are the same kicked from 10.

Alternate ends of field at the end of every quarter.

TACKLING RULE :

RUN PLAYS:
any touch
PASS PLAYS
- any touch
SPECIAL TEAMS
- any touch.

Fumble Rule
If ball carrier is tackled by two or more at same time he FUMBLES. Dice are then rolled Even Offense Odd defense. Ball is spotted at point of tackle no return.

OverTimes Rules.
Coin toss is used to determine who gets the ball first.

The team that won the coin toss gets the ball at the opponent's 25-yard line. The team will keep the ball until it either scores a touchdown, kicks a field goal, turns the ball over (via a fumble or interception) or fails to gain a first down. Once the first team has scored, failed to score, or turned the ball over, the second team gets that ball at the 25-yard line and attempts to score. If the score remains tied after both teams have had the ball, they will toss the coin to begin a second overtime. Otherwise, whoever is winning after both teams have had the ball wins the game. If the game progresses to a third overtime, teams are forced to attempt a 2-point conversion after scoring a touchdown.

It is possible for the game to end on the first play of overtime without the second team getting a possession. If the first team turns the ball over and the defense scores on the turnover, the game will end.

All other rules follow Miggle rule book.

Games usually last an hour to an hour an 30 minutes.

Thanks guys..tested a game out tonight....just one half though....
Miggle Rules...15 min quarters...
Still working out kinks but it was a pretty fast paced game and Bears are up 7-0 at the half...

I think i would like a smaller board for what im doing and the smaller miggle teams/figures...

I use a 25 sec clock to set up for off and def...

Clock stops after scores and within the 2 min warning

Its a process but I will get it going again....my 1970's solitaire league was the best.....good old days...
