Thumbs up Miggle Convention Poll.

Although there is no convention, how many of you really planned to attend? I know I did. That Embassy Suites deal is still the best around. The memories of the back room games, Green Room Rumble, and the big tourney. It just hit me when my wife asked about it last night. I'm just wondering how many people would really have attended.

Please keep the post positive. If you have something negative to say just cast your lot an push on.

It was just so much fun, especially without Ira (I know that's not nice) everything flowed and it was so family oriented. I really hope there is one next year. The hobby does need that example IMHO. Well, fire away.

Default I would not have

Sorry, but I would not have planned on attending anyway. Several factors.

Location: Nothing against Chicago or the Chicago area. Just don't want to go to Chicago.

Time of Year: I have several things that go on that weekend. Church marriage retreat that my wife and I really enjoy and my granddaughters birthday party. Her birthday is the 23rd of January but party is usually on the weekend after.

Weather and travel: I have this preconceived notion that it is very cold in the Chicago area the last part of January with a lot of snow and I don't want to get caught in a snowstorm driving or flying.

Finances: Just could not afford it this year.

I have very much enjoyed attending Miggle's conventions in the past, the fun and fellowship and meeting new coaches and renewing friendhsips that have only been made possible through the hobby of electric football. I hate to see it not being held this year. But I do understand the economics of it from Miggle's point of view. Hopefully they will be able to continue it in the future.

Health reasons and the economy would have prevented me from going this year.

Default If I could

Would have wanted to attend but getting off work is tuff for me as I work weekends so probably could not have pulled it off.

There are so many folks in this hobby I would like to meet and learn from...right now just trying to hold on to this job and it keeps getting shaker every week Getting real tired of getting laid off

I'm sure it would have been a great time! Maybe some day I'll be afforded the opportunity to travel although I am fortunate to have Ga, SC and Al so near by but I'd love to get to Ca, Va, Tx, Mi, Ks, Ny, Pa, etc, etc, but wouldn't we all...

it would have been hard, but I most likely would have tried to make it this year.

I had a bad feeling when Mrs. Landsman didn't email me back!
