Functionality

I've been told before that these are not competive poses, but I make them balanced as I can. I figure if they can't be used then they are a bit wasted, and they might as well be McFarlanes sitting on a shelf.

For any of you that I have painted a team for, please send me an email or PM and let me know which poses don't function, and what could be adjusted. I do realize that I am a novice at competitive play, and I still have much to learn, and that there are purposeful ways to make poses functional for certain positions. Also, I only have an old 620 that runs pretty smooth, so on a custom board with more power I don't know how these will perform.

And MegaWattz, I definitley want to get some of your figures. I have just been on a tight budget with time, and I had the Missouri team as my priority. I have three other projects (for myself) that I am trying to finish on my holiday break, but getting some of your figures and some Buzzball figures is the next thing on my MF to do list.

Thanks for the reply.... not all, just a few of the poses don't look effective for the positions you have them in.... but I could be wrong.......:dohdh: :dohdh: :dohdh: :dohdh:

I can't even start to share with everyone how pleased I am with these figures. Michael (Gridironpainter) did an outstanding job with both teams. He takes a lot of pride in his art and paints each figure as if it was his own.

I own the home team and purchased the away team and Rollerboard for my Dad. Both teams are very well balanced and play just as good as they look.

Hhmmmmm

I understand where K-Lo is coming from but I will say that the offensive and defensive lines are off the chain. Those can compete anywhere, anyplace, anytime.

Nice Shots

Thanks for posting those pictures Jeff/MU Fan. They look very nice on your board. I was guessing at what color to use for the grass, but it goes very well with the turf.

As for the performance. I feel that it is probably just a matter of which rules you play under. If you allow "grabby" CBs, then the WRs are going to get tangled with them, and these CB's are not the best either. But in the more traditional styles of play, then these do perform well. Also, because these figures are under the 4.0 limit, if you want to weight the bases you can really adapt them to many uses.

Thanks again to all of you for the feedback.
Michael

luv it....

... that squad looks awesome AND I'm happy to see the BuzzBall DDB's on the "O" Line used properly. ;)

George, I hope one day you'll explain how you tweak them that way (back on front bases) :D
