Training Camp....
You know, I keep hearing all this about Favre deliberately
waiting to decide well into or after training camp or preseason,
if he'll play or retire. There "might" be something to that but
honestly, most of these guys, the veterans anyway, STAY
in pretty good shape year round ,so I don't think that training
camp is that critical for "most" of the veterans, from a
physical-conditioning stand point.I can see it being important
from a "timing" stand point.Getting the feel of a "rookie"
or added member to the team.I mean, training camp won't
hurt any of them but I can see where after years and years
of it, some of these guys just don't feel the need for it.Not
saying they are right or wrong for feeling this way, because
training camp is part of their job,but I can understand them
feeling this way.It just seems like ole Brett is getting singled
out here and although it might be warranted,I'm sure he's
not the only player pulling this.I guess with fame comes
criticism.
