![]() I hope he will be back, but by the look of the beating that he took last night, I don't think that he will have anything left of him. BUT, with what has happened about the last 3 or 4 years, he has retired and come back out of retirement in the last weeks of the offseason/preseason.
I don't think that Brett will want to end his career on one of the worst throws that he has ever made. So my pick is that he might or might not, because we will never come close to understanding Favre's mind. ![]() Taylor |

![]() I believe sundays game, along with the week before, where supposedly the entire right side of his body was a bruise, will be enough for him. And, if you seen his wife in the stands, covering her eyes not to watch, probably indicates that shes seen enough. I will miss him, but its time to get out before he ends up a talking head in a wheelchair. There is nothing left to prove, and anyone who is a football fan, whether you like him or not, has to give this man his credit, because he's one tough SOB.

![]() I think Gregg Williams provides other teams with the book on how to play Favre. In his last 4 games against Williams coordinated defenses Brett Favre's QB ratings were: 70, 43, 63, 39.
You have to hit him early and often. In the first quarter you hit him before the whistle, during the whistle, and even take your chances with a few after the whistle. That rattles him and gets him a bit ancy. The 25 year old Favre would've loved that type of game and been talking smack to the defensive linemen (remember??). The 40 year old Favre is a sitting duck. If you do what most teams do and that is drop 7 or 8 into coverage, Favre will pick you apart (witness the 2 GB games). He's that good at reading coverages and getting rid of the ball quickly. I predict he does come back and for the first time doesn't make it through the season. |

![]() He'll be back....but he won't let his team (current or future) know till after training camp. He feels he doesn't need the conditioning and work.....but towards the end of each season I think that is what holds him back.

![]() You know, I keep hearing all this about Favre deliberately
waiting to decide well into or after training camp or preseason, if he'll play or retire. There "might" be something to that but honestly, most of these guys, the veterans anyway, STAY in pretty good shape year round ,so I don't think that training camp is that critical for "most" of the veterans, from a physical-conditioning stand point.I can see it being important from a "timing" stand point.Getting the feel of a "rookie" or added member to the team.I mean, training camp won't hurt any of them but I can see where after years and years of it, some of these guys just don't feel the need for it.Not saying they are right or wrong for feeling this way, because training camp is part of their job,but I can understand them feeling this way.It just seems like ole Brett is getting singled out here and although it might be warranted,I'm sure he's not the only player pulling this.I guess with fame comes criticism.
