Everybody always says...
Corey, by that rationale, without the gambling Pete Rose should not be in the HOF anyway because even though he retired with MORE HITS THAN ANYONE ELSE he was never the best player on HIS team. Art Monk retired with MORE CATCHES THAN ANYONE ELSE. Art Monk is not in because he was not "media friendly" and they are the ones who do the voting. P-E-R...D PERIOD. If you donnt kiss their arses you don't get in. Bottom line. And they want everybody to know "WE ARE IN CONTROL OF THIS AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!" (We know this because what other possible reason would Cal Ripkin not be a unanimous choice, but that's another thread) Guys, stop making excuses for this crap.
And Stoner, there are a lot of A-holes in the HOF. And once again the best supporting fact for Herschel is the 4,000 x 3 and 18,000+ I mentioned above. |

Thanks Stoner, this brings in some light

I had heard a story about Art being black-balled but never really believed it. But since you got it from a NFL player directly, I have to concede to you. Still I don't like it, but HOF loses something with me. K-LO |

Wow For The First Time...
I was wrong about Roger Craig being the first back to lead the league in catches. He was the first 1000/1000 man though.
And K-lo, tell Larry to get over it that Charles Mann Wasn't sweatin' his little daughter. LMAO |
