Default ooooooh

Cant wait to get into my lab and try this out. Love the shades, especially on the hand to distinguish the fingers.

Default thank you !

For the fingers thing, It's what I was speaking about in my tutorial : creating details where the figure does not have any or few.

The only issue IMHO is that all details will be not too much visible without good light.

Since the athletes skin is quite dark, the shading and highlightning effects have to be not too strong to still realistic, but logicaly you need good light to enjoy them.

It's something you have to be aware of if you try to paint realistic dark tone ethnic origins skins.

Default I screwed up

Hi,

To be a decent modeler or painter, you have to be perfectionist

As I said before, I didn't like two things on that figures : the dark tone making the figures painting effects not enough "readable" in normal conditions (basement, night, rainy day). The other thing, the varnish wich reacted wierd and appeared a little gloss/satin.

Each day, I was observing the figures, and each new day that little issues (wich I'm probably the only one to see ) became really annoying...So I made my choice : the DIP

The figures are now in a alcohol bath, to remove all the paint and varnish, and I'll do all the painting job again. My friend deserves it IMHO

Is that a 2006 Chardonnay Delmas or just rubbing alcohol that you are soaking them in?
