Blocking on offense
We've just added this to our rules: After a WR or RB catches the ball and is angled, All offensive players (not engaged with a defensive player) can be turned to block for the ball carrier. Then the defense can turn their unengaged players. This is done also on a running play: If the RB has the ball and is running, you can stop the switch and adjust the RB (If he is no more than 7 yds. past the line of scrimmage) then players can block as stated above.
Anyone else plays like this? We've scrimmaged with this new rule and it opens up the running game.
