Default Teams

I like a team in every division guys. It keeps it interesting and gives me at least one team to route for every year in the playoffs.

AFC East: This is the one division I don't really like any teams in it. The Colts used to play in this division and they used to be my AFC East team. I still claim them as my favorite AFC East team even though they play in the south now.
AFC North: Since living in Pa I've come to like the Steelers a lot. They really earned my respect when I went to that Steelers game on opening night (Thursday) this past season. So, yes I do like the Steelers and will RIDE THE BUS next season.
AFC South: Titans
AFC West: DOH!!
NFC East: Giants
NFC North: Vikings
NFC South: Saints
NFC West: Rams

The Raiders are #1 over all of them. All the other teams fall into place behind them.

Rip, be who you want man. Rodney agreed to be the Seahawks so he's fine with it. If you want to be another team let me know and be in the NFC so I don't have to play you!!! LOL!

Default What a bandwagon jumper!!!!!!!!!!

That list of teams is a who's been good the last 10yrs?????????

Aside from the Pats, and Eagles being on your list, but you took the G-men who won the bowl a year ago!!!

I guess when you are a Raiders fan, you need other teams to cheer on!

I have 1 team.......49ers, and I will root for anyone using them!!!! But if I had my way I would rep them in all the leagues!!!!

But I got luv for my 49er coaches out there!!!

Cleon out west
Don Lang in the Great Lakes
Clint in H-burg

Default Teams II

Yeah Corey, the Vikings, Saints and Rams have really given me a lot to route for in the last 20 years! One Super Bowl win among all of them. Two if you add the Giants in there. Although I will say that I ONLY started liking the Giants once they got Eli Manning. I hated the Giants growing up! When they Got Eli that's when I started to like them. Prior to that I liked the Redskins in the NFC East. OH, ANOTHER team that hasn't won squat!!

The Viking won a lot of games during those Moss-Carter years. The Rams were the Greatest show on turf...and the Saints are winning now!!!!
So out of your nfc teams you have 3 SB appearances...I won't even go into the AFC just yet!!!

I was done with that team, and I was looking...if the internet was alive back then I would have done a team search. I had always liked Earl Campbell and the Oilers, but I knew they would never beat the Steelers. I was more of a Earl fan than a Oilers fan. But I saw a special on Bill Ring, and that started my interest in the 49ers. Then when they drafted Ronnie Lott, and the team went on that run. And I remember like yesterday watching that Championship game vs the Boys, me and my cousin was on the phone trash talking. When they beat Dallas, I was hooked forever. If you remember, they came back the next season after the SB win, and stunk it up. The strike shortened season...I think they went 3-6 or something like that, but I stuck it out. So it doesn't matter where you live. I remember paying for my 49ers Report paper so I could get all the inside stuff. It was like having a local paper sent to the house.
As youngsters you are looking at TV, and they will market the good teams or players. So it's easy to start liking a team or player that is always on the TV. My son is 6. When he is playing with his basketball I hear him say..I'm Kobe Bryant, or Lebron James. The 76ers have no marquee players. We don't live in Clevland or LA?????
He says he likes the 49ers, but he also likes the Eagles. When we are playing catch, he tells me he is Desean Jackson....a markable player that he sees and hears on tv.
