to take a movie from youtube is pretty easy.

go to:

http://keepvid.com/


and paste the url of the youtube video that you want and then hit the download button. It will give you some options for the format that you want. download the MP4 version (that will work with quicktime etc).

There is also a program out there for free called Youtube downloader. It allows you to save the Youtube videos and then convert them into other formats.
