I received these today. Yah, they are mine! They are part of my ultimate collection from the ultimate painters and customizers.
The photos do not do them justice! When you see these in person and see the detail that was put into them from the faces down to the minuscule mud drops and the loose sleeves that they wore back then, you will be amazed! The collection includes so far: 1971 Chiefs (widely considered to be the best Chiefs team ever) by Gridiron Painter 1962 Dallas Texans by Chris Fields (champions of the AFL) All Time Chiefs by Mike Guttmann 1970 Chiefs by Lynn Schmidt (not the greatest painter, but my first team to ever paint and they were featured in the NFL Films piece) Next up.... the 1993 Chiefs by Bruce Watts ( Montana, DT, Will Shields, Marcus Allen. Neil Smith, Albert Lewis and the rest)

Really good work. You have the dynamic poses, the nice and clean finish, the real look and feel, masterized "weather effects", and an overall coherent team.
I love the "elegance" (same thing with Bruce teams, for example) of the customizing work. I don't see another word for it. |
