Default On Field Ref Figures

Can those of you who play using the onfield magnetic referee figures tell me what role they play or how they are used?

Is it for marking the drop back distance of the QB, I am pretty sure I got that, but any other uses?

Thanks!

Default Other uses

Basic spot-placement, say, if you want to take a DB out of zone coverage if you suspect a run, use the ref to mark the place where your DB stands, make the adjustment, the ref tells you where he goes.

And they look tight on your field!

Default You Right and.......

Hey Wally J

The on field ref's also mark the position of the player your going to adjust as well as add to the look of the game . The white hat ref goes behind the offensive , while the umpire goes in the middle of the defensive ( area of the LB's ) , the other on goes behind the safties , back judge I think ? . You also have two on each side line . There are seven in all to do a game .

In Real football each ref watches a area , C-G are watched by the umpire , QB-HB-FB are watched by the white hat/ref , Line judge watches the T-TE-WR and LOS , field judge watches the WR and a area of the field , I think ?

Hope this helps .

Excellent question. I never knew you could use the ref figures for that. Learn something new every day.
