Default Pro Set League Rule Question

Say that you are jamming a WR and have a LB just inside of the WR. After the snap you decide to slide the LB over and double jam the WR? Is this allowed? I have experimented with many variations of positions and you can actually get into questionable or unclear movements which result in the defense gaining a clear unfair advantage. Please give me a more precise definition of a defender movement. Thanks

yes, you can move him 4 yards in any direction which will result in a double team. BUT I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING. The problem is, THIS STYLE IS BETTER SUITED FOR SCALE SIZE BOARDS. Which will result into a much more wide open field. Also consider the stops. This style reads what the defense is giving them AFTER THE SNAP. you move that player over to double the wide receiver, that wr now is occupying 2 players. Your leaving your self wide open for disaster. Your opponent will send players to that empty area you just provided. Maybe a running back on a magnet for a draw play. In this style you cant think of just 1 buzz of the field and thats it. After the snap there are 2 more stops. The snap, is just the set up for the offense and the initial reaction for the defense. its like playing chess. The offense, just like a qb and offensive coordinator in the NFL are waiting to see what you are giving them.

Depending on who you move 4 yards or not move at all. They have 2 stops after the snap to attack your defense. You need to see the personel they have on the field before you decide anything.

1)2 te's 1 back

2) 4 wide no backs

Remember, this is not being played on a 620 or what have you.

The qb can dump it to the back with a convoy of blockers that was set up by the previous stop. Remember, your getting set up per stop. You must react per stop via 4 yard zone movements and magnets. You have to account for every blade of grass.

With your double, if playing 1 stop, one the field is shut off thats it. The offense must pas if passing.

With multi stops, he can pivot that wr off of your double team and you must make a decision to stay with it or run to another area to cover because it is so wide open.. If you abandon the double team, he can hit that wr with a pas via a 4 yard stick for a nice gain.

in this system a coach will read if your in a cover 2 or 3 on magnets. how far back your safeties are. where you move a player 4 yards. Playing stops you can create in sections. You can place down the 4 yard stick for a comeback pass and catch for nice yardage.

I was speaking with dewayne hall and he explained in this system just bring you offensive and defensive mind.

for instance, if you weight down a player where he is ilke the fridge, a coach will notice his speed and place a much faster player to go against him. he will not catch him due to his weight. That is the beauty of playing weighted. You don't know who your up against

watch out before you decide to double team.
