The Final Four was:

Utah ("Fin Fan") at Boise State (Mike Turner)

Michigan (Dave Campbell) at UCLA (Marcelo Troilo)

The championship came down to UCLA versus Boise State and Mike Turner guided the Broncos to a 17-14 victory and the championship ! The game came down to the last play with UCLA's field goal attempt wide right. Great game.

It was great meeting Weirdwolf and Mantarey Dre at the Open Run...thanks for making the trip guys!!

Lots of photos to come! Just got back. Thanks to the guys in the LAEFL for a great time. Well organized event, good BBQ, nice Open Run jacket. I had lots of fun and played 6 games and all though I didn't win many, the fellowship and laughs were top rate and I accomplished some scores against some of the big name guys. After I get caught up tomorrow, I'll post some more, but wanted to get an early shout out to the LAEFL OPEN RUN!!

Congrats to Mike Turner....that must of been a heck of a second half! Wish I wouldn't have had to fly out so early. Thanks and Congrats to Cello also for getting to the championship, for loaning me his truck to get around, a place to stay and some wise info for my Friday night visit to his place of business!!

In the "Battle of Moderators" between Shabby and me, Shabby took me out in a darn near entire second half drive for the win! I made him sweat though so I was proud of the team. He is now the moderator champion and gets to delete my posts when ever he feels like it!

Thanks to Jeff Eby also for loaning me his team. Stellar players and bases and with a better coach behind them then myself would of given everyone a run for their money!
