![]() What I have done in the past... Is put the color of the helmet around the outside of the decal so it will be easier to blend it.. not to mention .. cut.

![]() I do the same.....I print the decal on a backgound color to match the helmet/jersey and then cut out the decal leaving plenty of room around the decal. Leaving plenty of room around the decal allows you to go back with the paint (that you used for the helmet/jersey) and touch up around the decal tocover up the white edges.
Touching up with the paint also helps mold the decal securely and blend it in evenly to the helmet/jersey. The best way to go is to buy a printer that prints white ink...this way you can always use the clear decals. But I do believe those type of printers may be a bit 'spensive.
