electric football video game

After seeing that madden voltage football or whatever I got to thinking.....how awesome would it be to make an in depth game of electric football, not to replace what we do now, but just for something fun. You could custom color and name your teams, set up a league, design your fields, choose rules, and you would start off with a set of bases. Then you could play others online, or against the computer to unlock coins that you could use to purchase better bases that could be tweaked. You could also unlock different figures. Maybe there could be something in there about the weight of your players, and the dimensions of your field too!

I think it would be a great way to bring people together about the sport, because it would introduce it to some, but for some of us that live so far away from others, this would be a way you could kind of play against eachother.

Does anybody out there know how to program games? This would be so cool!
