Artlax, I'm looking forward to the BAM report. We always try and keep everyone updated as to what has happened in the latest tourny/league gatherings.
Lindy and Raiderman, like Wolf said, pick a subject that interests you and go for it. I don't want to try and assign subjects to people. I would rather that they write about something that they like about the hobby. I think it makes it a lot easier to get motivated to write that way. Frenchy, your modeling tips will be a great addition to the Tweak. This next issue will be a must have for anyone who likes to customize. Reggie, I run that risk in every article I write. Everytime I hear that little voice saying "Everyone is going to think you're some kind of egomaniac for writing all of this" I just slap it around and tell it to shut up. I think it likes it. To be honest, I would like to only have to write 1 or 2 articles a year. Unfortunately, we don't have enough people contributing to allow that. So, it's either 20 pages or less of the Tweak with contributing articles, or 40 pages with Matt and me writing 50% of it. And now that Matt has stepped down, there goes 25%. That's 10 pages that need to be filled by someone, hence this post. If I can get 1 page from every MFCA mamber, we would have enough material for the next 2 1/2 - 3 years. AND, we could probably get the issues out on time to boot!.

The Tweak staff is taking a breather for the hollidays. That means that we will be going back at it in January. We need articles by the middle or 3rd week of January so we can get things rolling again. Also, I need 1 or 2 people who are going to the Miggle convention to write coverage for it and to take pics. Any volunteers??????? Ohio guys, it's right in your backyard. Anyone care to step up and write about the event??????

Good point Al....
This is long overdue for me and I should be ashamed for not contributing...This was something I dreamed about back in 1997 when my wife bought me a Miggle board after she saw my eyes light up when I found out the game was still around...
So many of you guys became a part of my life and supported my tournament in its five year run... I'll write on this history... I really do support you guys and applaud all you do for the hobby... I think I will title it....Back in the day...with Coach AJ It will cover the days from Dirk Thomas to Dewayne Jennings... Sharing a room with Mike Turner for the first time in 1998... Watching Raiderman burn a pic of National at a Buzzball convention...lol Standing and watching 40 coaches from all over play in my 3rd College Tournament Hanging with the DC crew(parental advisory issue...LOL)... We'll see how it turns out....This should be interesting because Im getting old and forget a few things..LOL AJ |
