Sure Tony Dorsett, Dan Marino, Hugh Green and Mark May are long gone but Dave Wannesedt is recruiting well will have them making noise in no time.

Appalachian State is the best thing to happen to Michigan in a long time. You will realize this in about 4 years when your new coach has time to recruit and you start beating Ohio State again.

If you are going to root for another team, why not root for a champion? Florida is very good, and their program is going to keep rising. You should also consider USC. They really have it going out there.

You should always root for your team no matter what. Having gone through the "Blake" era at OU I know how you feel about the coach. After all he is just a figurehead. The school/team is much more than one man. Personally, I could never turn my back on the Crimson and Cream.

Default michigan

dont get me wrong...i still bleed maize and blue......been a michigan fan toooooooo long not to...and i still want them to win and play well...BUT i just cant watch them or promote them or buy anything from them UNTILL carr is gone

I know coach carr is a good man...ive meet him more than once...BUT i think he cant coach in the relm it takes to be an elite team...michigan is the top program of ALL TIME...there all time record is better than anyone even notre dame.....there all time winnning pct is the best of all time....but the last 5 years under carr have been a continue downslide...the derserve better
And so do there fans and alumni

the loss satuarday put a stain on michigan it cant ever lose...it will never go away..and i cant forgive carr for that one....in 1972 i was a BIG lion fan and the lions had 2 games left on the secudle....alls they had to do was win 1 of the 2 and they would make the playoffs one was buffalo bills who did not o j simpson in the line up and were down to a back up QB named billy shaw.....detroit went into that game and lost...and lost to minnesota the following week and did not make the playoffs....i quit being a lion fan right then and there...I almost did that after satuardays loss ....but i thought WHY quit being a michigan fan when i can quit carr

SO that being said...ill return to michigan with a venange WHEN carr is gone either by being fired or retring..and i still wish the team the best it can do..but under carr i think it will be about 500 this year...maybee a game or 2 above that...so untill carr is gone the team ill keep a eye on is centreal michigan...there a short drive from me and i can go to there games......also i will at the convention bring my michigan team to play others with......

its not losing that makes me mad...its they way carr has michigan unprepared in some games......if michigan plays well and is preperared like the ohio state game....i can handle a loss fine....but when michigan does fault)...like the rose bowl and the appy state game...thats what really burns my cookies

under bo andd moller i never saw a michigan team unprepered...they may have got beat ...but at least they seemed to be ready for the other team....maybee with the possable exception of the waahsington vs mcihigan rose bowl...when warren moon took michigan apart in the first half..and rick leach ALMOST brought them back.....any way ive ranted enough...thats my stance....
