Default Thanks to TSO, DFW members,Reg and his Family

TSO had all the hype, drama, game pressure, fun, skilled players, hospitality and everything you could want in a tournament. I agree with Mr. National you cannot over promote/hype this hobby. Reg's World is out of this world. As a coach you have to experience it. I learned a great deal about the TSO system, the history of EFL from Reg and Corey and more on customizing and painting/decaling players from the Master Reg. Reg also said TSO can be played solitaire as well. TSO can and should be considered one of the major styles of EFL. Why? Because it takes into account everything that happens in football. It should be a must for all coaches to try this style of play. If you have not played it, please don't speculate about it. EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF! The DFW league members were great and helpful. Reg's family was supportive ,very hospitable and his children very mannerly. So Big Thanks to Rutledge Family!

PEACE

Default Thanks Corey and Kevin

It was definitely good to have you 'Cats here for the Shootout. Corey, we always have seen each other at football gatherings but never got a chance to hang out. Next year, we will not wait on coaches making registrations at the last minute so that will make it easier to determine the seedings. That way, we will be able to start on time and finish in a more efficent manner. Right now, I am considering moving the Shootout up a week before Labor Day instead of the weeka after Labor Day. The media could not get out to me because so much was going on as far as high school, college and pro ball that weekend.

In order to get the most bang for my buck, I may need to do it earlier. Also, it gives the many people who said they were coming an opportunity to plan ahead. I know there were quite a few who said they would support the tourney but did not show. That's okay. Things happen and we must move on. We do look forward to seeing you in 2008 if possible. If not, don't sweat it.

But for guys like both Corey and Kevin, it was a pleasure hosting this tournament. I was more than happy to show you a few of the places I do business so thanks for stopping by.

Corey, Kevin has already committed to your system. Now the coaches are asking, "When will the National one come onbard?" I told them it may be a cold day in hell but we'll work on him.

Take care,

Reg

Default Reggie the pleasure was all mine!

True, every tourney you show up at, you're swamped with coaches asking questions, and buying FF.com. I finally got my chance to pick your brain.

I agree, let's go with an earlier date, make it official. That gives coaches time to plan ahead. Next year, we should go with 1 series in the prelims, then get on to the tourney. That way every coach will be able to play against each other. I wish everyone there could have used the box in their game.
I know I talked to Jimbo during the TSO and he was really wanting to attend. Mark Robin was up 3am that Friday morning posting that he couldn't make it.

I will try to make it out the championship game. I know you DFW coaches want to kick me around the metal turf!!!! I will have to assemble my DFW style team first.
Oh yeah, thanks for answering my questions via email!!!

Default Bad Minds think alike

The one possession has already been voted on by the committee of Rose and I and it was unanimous to just do one. We could do "The Box" in the qualifiers so people could experience the dissapointment of going in on a score only to fumble it away via "The Box" or have a TD taken away by pass interference. It seems as if you've really been taken back by "The Box".

More than likely, you can count on the week before Labor Day. My 'Boy at the TV station had a crew ready to come out on Labor Day Weekend but could not rearrange for the following week. I think the weekend before Labor Day may be better for all concern. I just got to confirm the date.

We will continue with the Shootout Region and the National Region as well. I like the coaches who are use to playing under the system have to knock each other off. The intensity gets so high. For instance, Geno H, Flynt, Mantaray 'Dre, Kevin Boddie, and John Rowan next year would have to play under the Shootout Region. They will have been experienced coaches by playing a full season in this style of play so they would be apart of that Region. Even coaches in the LAEFL or Vegas or Florida would have to be put in the Shootout Regional. But because the winner came from the National Region, it would make for a very interesting weekend.

I hate Mark Robin was not able to come. His monies will be carried over to 2008. I've got a feeling he will show up in 2008. I will give you fair warning when the 2007-2008 Super Bowl takes place. This is like nothing you've seen before. Honestly, the pomp and circumstance around the Super Bowl is very big! You've got to experience it. It is on a very grand scale.

Default Reg keep us posted

on the Walmart parking lot scam. Talk about dumb luck. I want to know how they will police that situation.

Next year I'm planning on having a 49ers team TSO ready!!! Tell Ernest and the rest of the guys Earl Campbell is retiring from the Shootout! I need more weapons, and my beloved 49ers will be loaded!!!

Rose has to be wife of the century!!!!! We were sprawled all over the house. The kids too, everyone was great. Women don't like peeps in their kitchen. And we had a 308 board right in the middle. She went out for KFC. She gave rides back and forth to the hotel. Tell her thanks again. Kevin is very excited about playing in the DFW. You said it better than me, you told him, I hope you are still excited after you start 0-5!!!!!! I fell on the floor!!!

Me and Jerry had a great time.

Default All man Joe

you stole my thunder. I was fixing to post that I was fixing to use that word fixing in my next post. Dang it. I guess when you fixing to do something, you need to just do it. Hey, once you do what you were fixing to do, is it fixed, or done????????????????? Somebody help me with that.

Hey Joe, RD was a riot. I can't wait until Reg does the DVD. The interviews better in the there. RD was asking all those funny questions. The interview jacket was the icing on the cake!

How bout me and Reg going at it in the scrimmage before we took you to the airport? I think I got over on RR?
