Default WINNERS in the Painting/Customizing Contest are...

The first ever MFCA Painting/Customizing Contest results are in. It was a great competition with over 80 votes registered in both categories.

The winner in the Scene Category goes to the "The Immaculate Reception" by Mike Guttmann with beautiful clean sharp lines and decals as well as perfect body positioning for the three main players. Second place went to Chris Fields with a unique "Marion Motley Breaking A Tackle In Old School Black And White" and third to Damon Lucas's "Jerry Rice Superbowl TD"

In the Individual pose category, the winner in a close race went to Chris Fields with his highly detailed and incredibly acurate rendition of Archie Griffin. Second place went to Joe Allore with Barry Sanders and third place to John Thomas Menesini with his Jerome Bettis pose.

Competitors entered in this first ever event were:
Individual Pose
Dave Campbell
John Thomas Menesini
Raymond Dalton, Jr. (2)
Joe Allore (2)
Chris Fields
Mike Guttmann
Paul Bartels
Norbert Revels
Damon Lucas

Scene
Mike Guttmann
Chris Markham
Chris Fields
Matt Culp/Matt Wavra
Damon Lucas

Please feel free to post on the threads at this time and let these guys know how much we apprecate their entries!

It was a great start to what the MFCA hopes will become a twice yearly event which will help push the level of detailing and customizing to new heigths!

Thanks again to everyone for your participation and start preparing for the next round of competition which will happen in March.

Hey guys...
Thanks for all the votes!! I worked really hard on that scene. Not so much on my Walter Payton as you could tell. Now, I just have to try to top that scene next time.
I can really use the bases too, my teams SUCK! I also hope that I will be able to use them as I've played 1/4 a game since the NHFL playoffs.
Thanks again!!
Mike

Default Thanks for the 3 votes

Well, now seeing what the others are doing, WOW. I need to really step up to the plate in March.
I am impressed with the way people change the figures, I tried and its harder than I thought. Ah, just have to work on it more, but it was still fun.
