Default The Football Knights of Stanton Heights

Many of you cats have already dug these but I'm reposting for the new guys...

This team is my first attempt at customization. Started close to 2 years ago. They are Miggle figures that I cut and rebuilt, then added Liquid Nails for muscle bulk.

They play terriblyrtfl$
Back then physics wasn't on my mind, I only wanted to make awesome!

But they're my ugly babies and I love them!

Default But they look nice!

At least they can look good while playing badly!

You have given me some great ideas!

I have to work up an 88 like you have for my Swann!

I see more "casualties" among my unpainted figures in the near future...

So how long is liquid nails in a "workable" state?

I can use afew of those poses man, #'s 81, 89, ( 2 of each) can you bulk them up to 1.7 grams unpainted, I also need 4 of those LB type poses thats in front of your WR, (THE UNPAINTED FIGURES FACING EACH OTHER).

Let me know

Norb, check PM regarding figs.

SteelerFan1967,
Liquid Nails is workable after about 45 seconds, you put a little bead in the desired spot and wait. I work it around with a toothpick. If you work with it to soon it makes a sticky, stringy mess. I'm not sure how long it stays workable, since I've never timed it. I'll guess 10-15 minutes.

I do one spot at a time, it takes awhile to get the hang of, but is awesome once you master it.

I also use the Liquid Nails as a joint, dabbing beads onto the shoulders and fitting the loose arms in at desired angles they would not normally go on the standard Tudor figure, it also adds that extra illusion of muscle/pad.

1) Super-Glue your skeleton together
2) Bulk the figure up with Liquid Nails
3) Paint the figure white, this acts as a primer, and also shows you how the figure will look when finished. The Liquid nails is somewhat transparent and makes it hard to gauge the silhouette.

Would you recommend Liquid Nails for making thigh pads?

I won't say it can't be done, but it might be a pain in the a**. I've never actually made thigh pads with Liquid Nails.
