TTC Bases on Offense and Defense

Do you actually adjust (turn) the dials on TTC bases used on your offensive and defensive lines?

With the ability to pivot or angle players once set if your rules allow that, is there a need for TTC dial adjustment?

I see a lot of pics and there are plenty of times when I do not even see TTC bases on offense and defense on some teams.

Just asking for some feedback on how many actually turn the dials on each play set.

I really wish you could come to Texas to see our Super Bowl weekend. For more than 10 years, I have been running zone blocking schemes where my linemen move laterally, forward, and sometimes backwards. This is based on the type of playcalling I want to do.

Eighty percent of my plays are ran with WIDE splits offensive schemes where the linemen are preset before every play to go a certain direction. Because of the wide splits, defensive units often put linemen within the gaps. That is exactly what I want. This creates influence blocking and zone blocking schemes which allow me certain lanes that I want to go through. My fellow coaches have deemed my offensive scheme "The West Coast" offense.

Because we use the audible system, which no other leagues allow, my runners are often matched up in holes where all they need is a little daylight and they break free for long gallops. This is all predicated on being able to pass the ball with precision.

It would be easy for defenses to stack up to stop the run but most teams play a cover 2 or 3-deep zone. This allows my great backs to have big days in the DFW League. If you came here, it would open up your eyes to how we play the game. You are a very insightful coach and what we do here will show you that traps, sweeps, screens, and every other type of play is run between coaches in this league.

Defensively, my defense ranks in the Top 2 every season. I run a specialize system with particular type of athletes. It is designed a certain way. I would love to visit with you and show you what I know. But of course, this is all based on the type of rules you play under.

I will try to send you some video showing simply 10 variations of holes opening up. You've got to have the right type of offensive linemen. The athletic linemen are not always your most powerful linemen but the ones who can pass protect, chip the LBs, and get out on screens. Coach, you would love it here. Consider coming here along with some of the other guys who are coming here for the Super Bowl. It will be well worth your educational experience back into the game.

After talking with you for very close to a hour last night I cant wait to get there and see first hand how things are operated. I want to learn with a open mind on how you accomplish such great feats of making your squad perform the way they do. Im trying to create the best team possible but I know I have a long way to go to come up to your level. Hopefully I want let you down in what Ive learned so far and what I intend to do in the very very near future after experiencing the most thrill Ive had in a long time by coming to your place to play.

I don't use real wide splits in the O-Line, but I do use the TTC bases as they were designed. This is how to get your "open holes" but basicly spliting to players and having the RB hit inbetween them. If the defense does not fill the hole, it's a big play.

You can do so many things if your willing to spend some time in the lab - studing your team and what you want to accomplish.

you can create the same holes on offense on defense to get your LB inside to blitz thur a hole created by the D-Line.
