Super Bowl Commercials Review

Well I made a review for last years game, so I thought I would try again this year. It's had to believe that after a slow start (game and commercials) the super bowl finished that way. Here are my awards for commercials.

Funniest Commercial
#1. Bud Light-Horse/Rocky Spoof
I love the movie rocky and what better to do then spoof it with the Budweiser horse and dalmation. I laughed at the whole thing, from the horse training in the rain, to pulling a train by itself. The theme song added a nice kick also.

#2. Bridgestone-Screaming Animals
I allways wondered what the last thoughts of an animal is before it gets hit by a truck. And all the animals in the woods screaming was hilarious also. I give this one a close second.

Worst Commericals

#1 Life Water-Geckos Dancing
I really wished I got paid a butt load of money to make a commercial that isn't funny, and has nothing to do with the product. Whoevers idea that was should go into hiding. It reminded me of a Geico commercial gone bad (which are bad as it is). There was no close second place in this award.

Best Franchize
#1 Bud Light
I know that they have the best commercials every year, and this year was no different. The made 5 commercials, and all 5 were very funny. The caveman and the rocky spoof were my favorites, but the ablities to be able to fly and to breath fire were pretty good too.

#2 Bridgestone
The only reason they are second to Bud Light is the simple fact that they had less commercials. The two that they did make, however, were very very funny. The squirrel one was good (see above), and also when the guy avoids the deer and speeds up for Richard Simmons made me laugh pretty hard.

Honestly there wasn't much of a differnce between the three. And I relaly dont want to go into the commercials because they were so bad.

Vomiting Baby!

The vomiting baby was funny. especially the second one when he admits to underestimating the creepiness of renting a clown.

I also liked Jackie Moon, the Planters Unibrow, Bud Light Flying and of course the Big Ben American Idol spot...

Side Note: I have seen Ben 3 times during lunch over the past month...last spotted going into Best Buy on McKnight Road...driving an H2...(he also has an Escalade)...
