Default TTC Base Question for Defense

If you had to play MF for the rest of your life using only one style of TTC base for your defenseive linemen, which would it be?

Our Tornado Alley base is far more versatile than any of the Miggle bases... Besides.. the best Miggle TTC is the standard shell with the proline dial.. Which is two bases.. and the Proline Shell stuck with a standard dial is .. useless

Thank you Kansas Bill, I figured you would be biased and I don't blame you. You do speak truth about the standard shell with the Proline dial, I have heard that before.

I need to get off my butt and order some of your bases.

Default Relativity

No disrespect intended, but I believe one man's trash is another man's OL! I would agree that if you wanna shove your opponent up and down the field - WEEEEEEEEEEE - then ProLine shells won't be your best choice. However.....!!!!! IF you want to actually run blocking schemes and open holes, then you might wanna give them a chance. I use the black PL TTC shells with white dials on my BENGALS' OL and, granted they don't push a lot - they don't get pushed back easily either - they do create the holes I need for Rudi to get thru and they protect Carson's hide pretty well. Kind of like real life. Do you really need to have ALL 22 guys stronger and faster than ALL 22 of your opponent's guys? Where's the fun in that? Where's the coaching?

Here's a challenge, and I apologize for flipping the script, but suit up one team in all Rookies and another team in all TTCs. Develop your skills trying to beat the TTC team, granted both teams are fairly adequately tweaked. Or if you can't wrap your head around that, practice your Offense against 18 on Defense (6 DL, 6 LBs and 6 DBs) and vice versa, 18 Offensive players (5 OL, 4 WRs, 2 TEs, 6 RBs, 1 QB) vs. your 11 man Defense. An extra step up, kinda like the X-MEN Danger Room is to stack everybody on D if your on O and vice versa.

I just reread the original question and it inquired on "Defensive lines." DUHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I have all orange rookies on my BEARS and they wreak havoc on the other guys that lick their chops when they see them. Surprisingly to them - I tweaked 'em so I know what they can do - they don't get run over and there is no time for the QB in the pocket!!! I'm old school - gimme 12 and 12 outta the bag and LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!

Well... I've just seen the results Geno has gotten with his linemen.. In Tornado Alley EFL against Miggles w/proline dials from base tweaking sources outside of our league.. not to mention his loopers that he has tweaked to run in reverse from the normal tweak.. And the fine line between strength and speed at the linebacker position is.. a much wider line with our base..

So sure.. I'm biased. And the F5 does take a different tweak than the Miggles, and it takes a bit of practice.. but there's more prong because we wanted it to be more versatile..

But.. We've got people who have yapped their jaws about them who have never purchased a single base..

Course.. Geno and I thought everyone bought stuff like we do... I buy some of everything.. And I'm looking forward to gettin some of the new Miggle Yellow convention bases for my solitaire league.. Cuz I want em..

Default interesting....

Well, if I could only use one type of TTC then it would be the original frosty bases!

Talk about stength, talk about speed then you can get it all from these bases. The one thing they do better than most other bases is "bounce" off another base and keep getting up field.

Original Frosty TTC Shell with a Proline strong dial, performs excellent on all surfaces, 1.26 to 1.30 is an added perk.
