Default Mozeek, When I Come See Yall...

at the BAM. I want you to do something for me. I want you to find out what it takes to perform at "Showtime at the Appollo"!

Seriously, that's something I always wanted to do and this may be my only chance. Let's just hope the Sand Man don't sweep me off the stage. When I worked in New York once, I went down to try to audition but it was closed down.

I said that if I ever returned to the Big Apple, I was gonna do it! It's time.

Reg (This ain't no joke)

Thumbs up Back in my Early Days

I use to be a professional singer. Before my mother died, I told her if I ever had the chance to do it, I would.

I always try to hold to what I say I was gonna do. One time, I duked my co-workers out of a nice sum of cash because they thought because I stuttered, I would flop as a singer at a little club in Sioux Falls, SD. Three minutes later, they were paying me $300 dollars and walking out the club with their jaws dropped.

I love a tough crowd. Believe me, I have played to more hostile crowds on these chatboards over the years. You have no idea of all the "Reggie Bashing" that went on on some chatboards before you came on the scene!

So a little harassment from the toughest crowd in entertainment would not even compare to the years of "bashing" I've had on some sites.

Default God didn't bless me ...

with the gift to talk. That's why going to law school is gonna be some of the funniest stuff you could ever imagine!

Think about it Nephew, sitting up in the courtroom, arguing a case and then getting the attention of the whole courtroom, even the convicted killer because I am stammering on a "Th" sound!

The jury cracks up so bad cause I can't talk and just decide to lock the convicted killer up because they can't wait to hear the end of my case. It may take too long!

Yeah, use to be the best high school singer in the state of Tennessee. Held every major singing honor and still in the high school's Hall of Fame. My school had great hopes for me but I chose a career in engineering. Still go back home and all the people in the hood always ask me one thing, "Are you still singing". Sometimes, I wonder what could have been. Always wanted to be a Temptation. I think I have a Temptation dream about twice a year. That's why I laugh at Al when I hear him because he remind me so much of "Blue".

RJ, don't let the 10 second pause between words fool ya. I know when I talk with you, ever conversation is like a marathon race. You've got to be asking yourself, "When can I wrap this conversation up cause this brother is taking entirely too long?" Heck, imagine what Rose got to think? She's been living with me 22 years and have had to endure those conversations. Think about it 'Dawg, it's not too easy.

It's just something that never comes up in conversation.

Reg

Wow, no longer will I know you as "Lord Rutledge". or "RR", or "Reg", but now I will also know you as "The Singer", and I want video of the performance, and as part of the peanut gallery I wish we could all be there to witness this special event. "Singer", this news has totally blown me away, I didn't know you had such a hidden talent. I only ask that the next time I see you, please sing me a song.
