All right Norbert....no more niceties...what's wrong with you!?! The Chiefs are always coming up seconds!! Just getting to the big dance isn't good enough...get back to practice and I don't want to see any more posts until you win the big one again for the Chiefs, "Ol Fella!"

I was glad to be apart of the weekend.....
Congrats to the great champ Simmie (Mr. Clutch) and to an imensly talented runner up in Norbert. But most of all to the entire GLEFL league for the completion of yet another great season!!!! In case people don't know by now, this is an amazing group of enthusiastic and classy guys who represent the hobby in amazing fashion.
The game was an amazing nail biter, and the margin was so razor thin! Norbert, your team was so obviously talented but you seemed to have several key plays that just did not go your way. But what I will remember is your demenor after both the critical instant replay reversal and after the final gun- it was pure class. Your team was great and I got the feeling that in the 2nd half you were starting to role but you just ran out of time. Simmie, what can I say. Like Ken Allen said in the post game interview, you seem to do whatever it takes to win. There's really no other way to analyzine it other than to say you have "IT". Joe

Let The Big Cats Roar!!!
WOW! A nail-biter is right! The final score says 10-7 but what it doesn't say is "how" the numbers got there! I won't elaborate, but I will elude the specifics by these generalities: a broken tackle for TD; a last play of the half FG; an unbelievably LOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG TD run; and a lay it on the line, leave it on the field, 4th and 1 inside the 20 "after further review" defensive stop! What more could you ask for? How about a bone-crushing snobber-knocker on a scrambling QB who coughed it up? Or DEs getting rolled up on Off Tackle runs? How about WRs that couldn't be triple-teamed? How about running around the house screaming and hollering like a 2-Time Back-To-Back League Champ should? How about the runner-up laughing and clapping louder than everyone else when the Champ gets crowned? Class acts through and through! I'm glad I was there.
