Default A custom figure?

When do you need to make a custom figure, and for what position?

Default Whenever You Please

You can make a custom figure when you want to make one and for whatever position you please. That is what makes this hobby great. It allows you to create whatever you want from figure poses, actual figures themselves, bases, playing fields, stadiums, etc.

Yes my man, if you create the one, base him up real good and he is balanced, you've got a killer offense or defense.

Default I usually make them for fun

However, if you are looking for something to help you be more competitive, a custom figure can help. Here's some of my needs:
* I like to make custom wide receivers who are able to get open, no matter what.
* Also like defensive linemen made who can shoot the gaps and get tackles in the backfield.
* Kick returners who are customized to be perfectly balanced, to break the big returns.
* Custom offensive linemen who can get under the pads of defensive linemen and drive them backwards.

Default OU hit it right on the nail

I guess a custom figure would be defined as any figure created or altered to perform a specific function. As the others that replied to you mentioned they can make an impact in play if there matched with the right base. Look at all the great work here to get an idea on what you feel on what you like in custom figs, and when you play either in a game against someone or solitaire, think of what you want to do on the field and then try to get figure to perform the movements your after, hope this helps.

Stay Blessed

As has been mentioned in the previous replies you decide when and where you want to use a custom figure. Remember in this hobby you are the coach and the one who will be making the decisions when you want use your custom figures. Hope this helps.
