Default Guttmann's Retro USC

Just wanted to show off my USC retro offense that Mike Guttmann did for me (painting and decaling) using RaiderMike's paints.

That color is always tough to match and I've had a couple attempts at it myself and when I saw some that Mike did, I had to have some!

I'm anal, and one thing I always appreciate is the smooth lines that you get from top painters. Note the pant lines!

A couple of other tidbits:
- Names are on the platform as this is one way around the teams that don't have names on the back of the jersey like Notre Dame and USC

- Though he isn't pictured, I do have #24 as a lineman. He was a gentleman named Marion Morrison (a.k.a. John Wayne) who was a lineman at USC and wore #24.

Great job, sir.

Default Best of the Best

That guy is unfreakin-believable talented. One of this days I will enlist in Mr.Guttman's talent. But its like a kid in the candy store which team would I want Mike to do for me.Theennnn...I would have to wait for that team and Id be buggin him everyday "Is it almost done?"Of course after that he'd have to do more teams for me.Which would make my EF room(Which I dont have yet,But after hearing about Don Smith's Great room,I want one)look great. Now back to original question which team, which uniform, what year?Hmmmm.

Thanks for the kind words Tom.
Most know how Tom wants his teams...What most of you don't know is that I'm MORE Anal about my painting and decalling than he is. I'm a perfectionist, have to be I'm an Accountant, anyways, If a stripe or line is not straight I will redo it until I'm satisfied. I'm my own worst critic. Same with painting the uniform itself. If I see bubbles, or streakiness or the color isn't solid, I'll fix it. Especially for what people, and me, pay for these, I want them satisfied with it, as I would want them.
Thanks Tom!
Mike
