The Real Anthony Burgess -- Hope My Friends Will Take The Time To Read This...

I have been getting so much love from all of you over the last two weeks that I am at a loss for words. So I wanted to get off of decals for a moment to talk about my next project.

One question that I have been asked is why I would work (for) AB basically free of charge on his website, and new DVD. I also have been known to defend him to the community and rep his system in the face of harsh criticism. Let me again try to introduce you to the real Anthony Burgess and in so doing shine some light on the MPFL system.

First off, AB's love for our hobby is unlike anything I have seen in my time here. His game design is his pride and joy and he is very serious about developing it properly. AB is a former semi-pro player, head coach, and official. I believe that he is a qualified authority on football strategy.

Second, AB has the vision to redesign EF while taking his experience and using it mold our game to fit. I have always said that traditional EF is an awesome way for us to fellowship as men, do something positive, and to just flat out have a good time. However, in the category of realistic simulation, it still falls short. In this context, the checkers / chess analogy is still relevant. This analogy was made in a positive sprit, and it was his desire to improve the hobby, and thus spread its growth potential. Not to bash or criticize others. The MPFL philosophy is to take EF and mold it into the shape of a real football experience. All figures, props, and game play methods have a very distinct purpose.

Third, AB's style is ultra-fun and pressure-packed. We are all football freaks here and that much is certain...tell me that you are all not ready to experience the hobby on another level.

Once we linked up it was magic. Here is a real artist who is as obsessed with details and perfection as I am. The point of all this is...we are working to re-introduce the MPFL system this spring on a 3+ hour DVD. I would encourage you all to purchase a copy when the time comes.

We will be announcing the DVD very soon and I predict that we will draft more new coaches into the hobby in the subsequent 12-months with this style than have ever been before. Newcomers are our audience, not the grizzled veterans that are not interested in what this style has to offer. To those that are interested, I hope that you all will give the same open-minded approach to this system as was given to Decal Master Decals. Both are coming from the same creative spirit.
