The ONE I had been looking for...
It's been a tough month and half.
Work has been a killer. I have been working a lot from home, after normal work hours, to the point where it seems like I hardly see my kids. My MF/EF time has been ZERO. In last week, things have started to get a little better...work is getting back to normal hours. My kids decided they wanted to sell some of their Wii/Gamecube games and I told them I would put them on ebay so they could get the most $$ for them. While I was setting up the sale, I took a look around and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1 This is the same game (well model and teams) that I got on Christmas Day in 1977 (I think that was the year). I had been hoping to find a 620 with the Steelers and Browns and this one just appeared. I have no idea what kind of shape it's in...but for $10.50 (plus what I need to pay to have it picked up and shipped) it's worth it. Just the pick me up I think I needed. |

NOT the ONE!!!
I got the board today...it's a 635!!! I know the one I had back then was a 620!
I knew I should have asked more questions! Well, for $10.50 plus shipping I can't complain. The board is in pretty good shape and it came with 4 teams...Steelers (D), Browns (W), Vikings (D) and Broncos (D). All are black shoe. The Steelers are from when they used the yellow figs...I personally hate that version. The Broncos and Vikings are actually pretty good. They look clean and they are good Tudor paint jobs. Both look to be 70's versions...orange shirts for the Broncos (I always thought those were some of the best looking Tudor painted teams...the orange jersey Broncos) . |

Look out...those are Green Bay Glenn's favorite figure...he has agents across the country scouting for those and if you won't sell them to him he will resort to out right theft and burglary to get them. Keep your doors locked and bolted and set your burglar scanner to detecting green and gold. Look out!
