i use aves apoxie. it is a 2 part sculpting compound that dries hard as a rock, and is easily manipulated with water and sculpting tools while soft. check it out here: http://www.avesstudio.com/

I have seen a couple of sellers on ebay.

Plus it sounds a lot like that "Miracle Putty" that the face of informercials "Billy Mays" does the ad for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypWJs_lb_Nw

I have seen that at Walgreens.

Thanks again!

nah, apoxie is a little bit different. miracle putty is a take on an item called green-stuff. it's plumbers putty, used to seal joints around metal pipes. it never totally hardens and is not tooled easily after "cure". warhammer guys use that stuff a lot. i like apoxie because it cures "rock hard" and is easily tooled and sanded after cure. it is also easy to work with while in its malleable state.
