Default Is the Miggle Site No longer the place to be?

Hi Guys,

Been thru another EF drought but I have gone to the Miggle chat from time to time and one thing stands out; hardly anyone is there. It looks like there have been 4 new posts since June 27. Here, there's been about 100. I have my guesses as to why, but is Miggle in that bad of shape or what?

Brian

Nah.. I dont think the reason for the shift has anything to do with Miggle and what shape they're in..

It's just easier to post over here..
We don't have to worry about posting pics (that might have a buzzball or ff.net figure).. And we can talk about anybodies product here..

Default Honestly they cut their own throat!

Hey no disrespect to the Landsmans and Miggle's contibution to our beloved hobby, but the Miggle Chat boards demise was there own fault, I understand that they are a business entity, and they must protect the Miggle Brand and name, but when you cant show a pic of something, or talk about BB figs or FF.net figs I cant see really how this hurts them, In my opinion Miggle lacked the vision to see the hobby was changing and they wouldnt or couldnt change with it, point blank for me Miggle will still get my loot on products bases and facemasks maybe some proline figs or footballs but as for there chat board " wait can you hear it Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Flatline!"

Unfortunately, talking on the Miggle board felt like it was 1984 all the time.....

No,
It's all my fault for enforcing their rules. And watching Al
I only go on there twice a day to ban the spammers. LOL

Default Mike NP.....

....Man we understand your situation. We all still love miggle and their products. The forum didn't help sell their stuff it was a gathering place for the masses and we enjoyed it for years. This forum is just wide open o you can bring what you want on here with no reservations. So don't think for minute miggle i worried about the forum, sales are still up!!

BTW thanks for the update again my man.

Default As I Suspected

Well, looks like I was on target. It's just kinda funny showin' up over there and no one's around. It's like going to a party and it ain't there anymore, and you wonder, "Hey, where'd everyone go??"

I understand how folks feel. I've been concerned Miggle was not doing well but I am glad they still have folks support in the shop. I am sure that maintaining a forum of that type can be a real hassle, on their end. I understand their concerns. I'm sure they are legitimate. It does throw some rain on the parade, though.

Later, and at the rate I'm going these days, maybe much later! Brian
