[The Rookie]

I would like to say thanks to all of the DFW coaches that have opened their homes, phones,PM's, and emails to help a rookie get started in this hobby. I can't believe that the DFW league does what it does for perfect strangers.
I have been given information, advice, schooling , one on one coaching and much more. Some times I look back and go what is the catch - and I have figured it out there is not a catch. This guys are just helpful and friendy.
I really don't remember how I got in this league , Some how Mike Robertson and I started talking and he sent out a invitation to play in the DFW league. I then talked to Reggie and Barry who both invited me up to visit and talk football. I have not been able to meet Barry in person but can't wait. I have had some sit down time with Reggie which was very very good. He only had an hour to give up but it turned into 2 hours . I then was invited to Raider Nation for a short visit which turned into about 4 hours of non-stop football schooling from Both "The Don" and Ernest(ERron). To great guys ( I know RD you don't know what you are doing but you better keep doing it because it works ) that tryed to teach me how to pass,kick ,line up for special teams tweak anything you can think of, unreal.So thanks once again you guys are great.
And to all the guys that have helped me on the board thanks

It was my pleasure Doug. Anytime I can be of help just holler. I hope the tweaking tips I discussed with you helped. Earnest and I will spend hours tweaking together coming up with tweaking techniques and somtimes they actually work. We are getting together in the coming days and will have a lengthy tweaking session, hopefully we will come up with some new ideas or simply improve on some that somehow seem to be working. Thanks for the good words and believe me when I say the pleasure is ours.

meeting you. I can tell we already have a guy for the long haul. It's great to continue to recruit good guys who come in with a humble attitude and a willingness to learn.

I get so caught up in the moment when I am explaining things that I want you to have the same information that I know. I do know it will take time and I will feed you as much as you ask for.

Some of the greatest guys in MF, the DFW "Band of Brothers" have an obligation to Pay-It-Forward. They all know this and will do it without hesitation. That is what we do. So now, you have that same obligation and we look forward to you exemplifying that same singular principle when bringing others into the game.
