Default Season ending injuries have...

not been adopted because of the severity of the rule. Some guys team would become so depleted that they just never wanted it in the game. Personally, I always wanted it but that is selfishly wishing cause I could lose a starter and probably would not miss a beat. Therefore I understood and accepted the rule many years ago.

Raven Maniac again speaks with wisdom! ERob, I have a love/hate relationship with it too. I have lost two Super Bowls on runners racing in for the final score only to have a fumble occur. So, it can be good for you and bad for you but honestly, I would never trade it. We saw a game last year in the league when both teams for got to bring their box and it had to be the most boring game in league history. There was no energy or intrigue and that was shown throughout the house between the coaches and spectators alike.

Dang Reg! That's gotta hurt. You know...I hold my breath after every big play my O gets...in anticipation of my opponent shaking the box and causing a fumble or a penalty to bring the play back. In our league, the surrounding coaches can't tamper with an ongoing game by making suggestions like "shake the box". I hope that my opponent will forget to shakem up. The most the box ever cost me was a 2000 yd season. It negated two 80 yd runs in one game, which would have been the first time in LAEFL history (since stats have been recorded) that a RB rushed for 2000 yds. Although the box can kick u in the azz, I'm with you on keeping the box around.

Dang Geno.. I guess you should have said "keep the box, keep the box".. You could sell more TDQ's that way.. lol

The thing is.. The TDQ is not the same thing as a certain "base" being injured.. While IMO it can make a passer out of someone who is not, YOU still have to hit the target.. SO.. I would think that an injury to the QB would involve the "base" he was on only, and not the actual TDQ figure you are passing with..

Default No Disrespect

In Football at any level, when a player gets hurt they don't just remove his cleats and then send him back out there so why just remove the base and not the entire figure?

.....most dudes i know in this hobby have atleast 3 ttqb's that they have at their disposal to use throughout the game...tweaked and ready to go...... I think the original gist of this post was to gauge how people felt about the rule but somewhere along the line we got on equipment.....

IMHO the scramble rule in the Shootout Rule Set should stay as is because honestly i feel if a qb is scrambling he does not have the same accuracy as a stand in the pocket qb so here (in the BAM) we will discuss one day having a first and second qb the 1st designated qb will be for your pocket passes and then your 2nd qb will be for scrambling passes or half back passes.... just ideas to think about
Ilike and play various styles...you know why because that is what i choose to do and i enjoy it...so i say to everyone out there...PLAY WHATEVER WAY THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY...

MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN GUYS...AND SOMETIMES JUST AGREE TO DISAGREE AND KEEP IT MOVING

Hey man.. absolutely no offense taken..
I'm thankful we're not all lemmings ready to jump off the cliff just cuz everyone else is.. lol

We look at all the different rules sets and talk about it and vote whether or not to incorporate it in the Tornado Alley EFL.. We all enjoy our new rules set we used this Spring/Summer.. and I imagine we'll tweak it for next spring..

But honestly.. I can't think of a single TAEFL'er that would want results of a game decided by a roll of the dice.
